I was in some kind of neighborhood that almost seemed like a huge apartment complex. I parked my vehicle on a hill that was actually a ridge overlooking an open space in front of the car, and more of a gradual hill on the other 3 sides with buildings and whatnot around. I had to do something there at the ridge with another person – not sure who – but it seemed work related.

My car started out being an older one I had in real life but no longer do. But then it became my grandmothers real life old green Duster. It was at this point I realized this was a dream, but it still didn’t click to the point of being able to control it.

So I parked, got out and was doing my work in front of the car. At some point I turned around and it was gone. It seems like I spent a lot of the dream trying to reason what may have happened to it. We decided it must have rolled away. We never heard an engine start up so we ruled out someone stealing it (as if we wouldn’t have noticed it rolling away either, being only a few feet from it the whole time).

We weren’t sure which way it rolled. Dream logic, what can I say. I spent the rest of this seemingly long dream searching in all directions for “my” Duster!

Somehow my brother who passed in real life was part of the dream, but not in person. We found that someone had discovered some bags and luggage of his that had been in the car. The pieces were pretty torn and tattered, like they had been through some super rough handling. We figured the car rolled away, crashed or got beaten around and his bags were thrown from the car or something. In real life he passed quickly from cancer, not car related, so I don’t know the significance of this.

But there was still no sign of my actual car around the neighborhood, so I thought it was time to buy a new car. My realization of that was basically nonchalant, I’d find one somewhere. And that was it.
